Ron Rice Painting & Consulting (RRPC) is a full service, licensed and insured interior/exterior painting company based in La Mesa, California. We make your painting projects flow smoothly by offering the finest quality of work and exceptional service.

Our work is outstanding because we focus fully on the preparation of the surfaces to be painted and use only the highest grade of materials. At RRPC, we believe that prep work is comparable to building the foundation of a house. If the foundation isn’t of the highest standards, then eventually the house will collapse. Next, we ensure that the finish paint is applied properly, whether it is brushed, sprayed or rolled.

RRPC offers stellar costumer service. We believe in treating all of our clients—from the $300 guest room repaint to the 20,000 square foot office building—with the same respect and courtesy.

RRPC encompasses all aspects of the paint trade, including residential, commercial, industrial, new construction, repaints, remodels and tenant improvements, as well as lacquer and stain work and concrete refinishing. We also provide painting consulting services and DIY workshops for a nominal fee.

We offer you the best painters—professional, skilled and courteous. The journeymen painters that are employed with RRPC are seasoned pros, each with well over 10 years of painting experience. Ron, the owner of RRPC, is a painting veteran. He started at the ripe old age of 19, working part-time as a painter while in college. After a stint as a foreman for Woods Painting in Nashville, Tennessee, he ventured out on his own and started Changes Painting. After enjoying success in Nashville as a paint contractor, he traded the cold winters of the Southeast for the sun of the West. Since his move to San Diego in 2000, he has a built a solid and loyal client base with RRPC, with his focus on quality, customer service, reliability and competitive pricing.
